Program Flexibility

Starwide Collection Site Management

The Starwide Network includes all Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Certified Laboratories and their laboratory owned collection sites (PSCs).   Utilizing a PSC presents significant cost savings to organizations by eliminating the need for occupational clinics.  There are currently over 10,000 PSCs and occupational clinics in our Starwide network.

Medical Review Officer Services

The Medical Review Officer (MRO) plays a critical role in the testing process.  The MRO is a licensed medical professional (M.D. or D.O.), with a background in substance abuse, who receives laboratory results, interprets and evaluates those results together with medical history and other relevant information unique to individual employees or job applicants.

Customized Billing

Star Systems’ billing system can be customized to meet your needs and requirements.  Our system has the ability to track activity per location.   In addition, Star Systems offers a number of invoicing options.  We can invoice one central location, multi-billing locations or send one composite invoice to a central billing location summarizing billing detail for each site.  Star Systems also offers invoice processing using EDI - Electronic Data Interchange.
